Aaron wrote:I actually think your truck IS lowered. Here is my buddies 2020 Lariat, and all he had done was a front leveling kit (rear is factory). You can see how much more wheel gap there is.
That's interesting. It still doesn't explain the weird shock part numbers and work description though.
Chris wrote:are you sure its not 'reverse leveled?' Where they pull the rear lift blocks out and leave the front alone.
I'm not sure. Parts.ford.com has really good exploded parts diagrams. I'll see if I can't compare that to what's actually on the truck.
Steve wrote:Hard to tell with those much larger aftermarket wheel installed.
They're the same size as the factory rims on Aaron's friend's truck. 20 inch.

Oh I think it's lowered for sure. My buddy's Lariat has the factory 20s on it. Just look at the wheel gap in the rear, his is stock, and Jeff's looks to be a lot smaller.

Definitely sits lower then. However they are different generations, trims, and sizes. Some Rams look that way as well.

WIth that little gap and the fact it is 4wd makes me feel like it is lowered a bit as well. 4WD usually means big ass gap

Also as a note those part numbers for the spacers, plates, and U-bolts are Ford part numberse.

They are actually the same generation. Aaron's friend's truck is just the 'facelift' on the 13th gen.

Same gen F150. 2015-2020 were all the same gen for F150s.

And they Chevy dealer wrote it up as individual parts for the install or something like that.

You're front shackles on the rear leaf spring are not stock, and look like the ones from the kit I posted. You can also tell they aren't factory bolts in there, as they have a separate washer, instead of the normal flared head bolt the OE bolt would have.
This is what the stock front shackles look like

Yeah I suspect Aaron is right. You're not going to want to run anything bigger than stock diameter tires with that lowering kit.

Jeff about that low rider life now. All that’s left is some hydraulics and flannel.

I still have to step up into it.
I was parked next to a 21+ F150 at the gas station the other day. It was basic work truck spec like mine. HVAC company I think. It seemed to sit lower than mine. Maybe it was 2WD.

As a note my buddies does have the max trailer tow package, so it may have slightly different rear suspension to tow more, but I think if you parked next to his, it's going to be significantly lower.

You know how I said it was rainy and dreary outside? Well, I just want out and looked under the truck again.

It's definitely the kit Aaron posted. Some quick measurements show it's dropped 1" in the front and 4" in the back. The rear has a flip kit to put the axle on top of the leaf springs instead of under them.

You should use white out on your sidewalls Jeff.
