No, like custom fiberglass(?) flares.

Seemless with the body or like something more obvious? Guess I'm not picturing it well.

I've only seen small pictures of the rough molds laying on the floor. So I don't know for sure either.

I dislike most body kits especially when plastics and fiberglass is involved. They can look cool for a season but they alway fail in the real world and quickly look like shit.

The Stealth Spyder needs a banana.

All the fender flares I've seen for the 3/S have looked really "tacked on" and don't flow with the body lines at all. If someone went through the trouble to actually do them correctly then they'd probably look awesome.

I prefer 2G over 1G, but I had both. I really did like my 1G while I had it. White, loved that car. I think I drove it more over the years than my second. Mostly because I did a LOT of driving then. I've gotten so many compliments on both cars over the years.

But doing it to a Spyder?

Yeah, that's probably one of the better ones - and looks like garbage. Totally looks like someone just put some generic kit on there and called it good enough.

Just doing flares on the top isn't enough - you have to actually make the whole area around the wheel widebody or it is going to look stupid.

the problem on the 3S is the factory fenders are so 'flaired' already from the doors. Anything you do just messes up that perportion.

Love flares when done right, but I think it would be impossible for someone to do something I’d like on a 3s

I just don’t think the styling lends itself to flares. The fenders are already kinda flared in a way making them bigger and keeping the lines wouldn’t be possible IMO.

I think cianci has the only widebody I liked. Just basically made a vr4 from curvy to voluptuous. But so many things to over come with that. First, you have the people who wants vents and this and that but they will never ever buy them. Second, the rear has to have some major body work to look right. No sheet metal screws, and gas tank to name a few.

It’s next to impossible to get a group of people to decide on anything, then have it made, agree on a price, and everyone be happy.

I'm a fan of LibertyWalk and similar cars. I've also got a weird love/hate relationship with RWB. So that should give you some idea of where my aesthetic opinions sit.

You should all be happy nobody makes a C7 widebody kit that I like. I love the factory widebody, so I'll just buy a Grand Sport if the market ever goes back to being sane.
