Wow. That was totally worth the watch. I don’t want air just because I don’t wanna have to worry about compressor or anything odd. But I never thought about all the issues. Crazy.

I converted my buddies Montero Sport XS from the open diff to the air locker out of a full size Montero. Had a little compressor that went under the rear seat specifically for the air locker. Had no issues with it. It's not like a semi truck where you have a big compressor and air tanks lol

the stock montero air locker is extremely reliable. i was actually a bit surprised mine still worked after sitting 10 years.

I've pulled several Montero air pumps. Saw 2 pumps fail. Its just a pump and hold system with little line pressure.

The bladders in the diff tend to outlive them, but there is no replacement, so honestly a traditional LSD or Hybrid LSD is a better choice for most people.

Why can’t they be like the manual one? That seemed best of everything. Why did we complicate it?

[quote=""Melis""]The cop asked Coop "Are you really a firefighter?" Coop was like "yeah" then the cop said "ok your in charge" then the cop left

Everything fails. Especially something this complicated.

You could always just install a "spool" and be done with it. Then again you create another issue further down the line.

Buy a new E-Hummer and be done with it.
