Re: My new daily
We did take it to ellensburg and back and ran a bunch of errands yesterday. Danielle said it felt better than the Subaru on the freeway up there. She also loves the truck/hatch space. Did complain a bit about the dead pedal. But that's the only drawback.
Re: My new daily
What is this dead pedal stuff?

Re: My new daily
looks like I might be dealing with the shift to park issue. Covered under a TSB and should be part of the 8/100k powertrain warranty. Might be cutting it close though. It is a 2018, but depends on when it was actually first sold. If not under warranty I can fix it for about $100.
Re: My new daily
I think it'll show the warranty start date if you have an account on the Chevrolet site.
You could also look on the door jamb sticker to see when it was built. That'll at least get you in the ballpark on whether it was an early or late build.

I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Ran the Vin on Chevy site. Says votlec warranty still good and this should supposedly be supported by that.
I'll call the dealer and see if I can set up something for them to take a look. It's an easy fix, but would be nice if they can do it

Re: My new daily
I know it is hard to tell in the old pictures, but it had a bad wax job and had a ton of swirls in the paint. Tried to get good pics to show, but it really didn't come out that well on the phone with the lighting I was using. Anyway, spent about an hour this morning doing a good buff/polish. First cut it with a medium/light pad then finished with a fine pad and used some ceramic polish stuff that I first used on the outback when I had it to get rid of some scratches from off-roading.
Not great since didn't have all the equipment and chemicals I usually use, but not bad for a quick fix. It is going to be a stored outside daily so didn't want to spend a ton of time on it.

We are selling it. Not using it enough. Insurance alone costs more than we are saving on gas. We look for excuses to not drive it.

Sold it to Carvana. They are picking it up Friday. Gave me what I was asking for it on Facebook and $2k more than any local dealer would.
