The PnP truck was in pretty rough shape. I don't think it would be an improvement.

You should probably also be able to use a similar year F250 cushion. The cabs are identical.

Might be worth it to keep an eye out though.

Worst case if you can't improve it, can get a new pad from Ford https://www.oemfordpartsdirect.com/oem- ... z15632a23a

This is the pad for mine. FL3Z1663223F

$502.18.

10/26/2016 - 07/17/2017, F-150, King Ranch Version, With Drivers Heated And Cooled Seat, Drv Power Seat Adjust With Memory, Less Multi - Contour Seats
10/26/2016 - 07/17/2017, F-150, Lariat, With Drivers Heated And Cooled Seat, Lariat Special Edition, Drv Power Seat Adjust With Memory, Less Multi - Contour Seats

In 2018 they went away from the thermo electric heat/cool and went to cheaper vented seats with a hot wire grid.

Not that it matters. It looks like you can't get the older one. It's on backorder. Probably discontinued.

My PN isn't listed but the guy who posted the link on the forum said it worked fine in his 16 Platinum.

Man I would just do that! I highly doubt the frame is messed up at all, and the foam is just collapsed.

Coop
my cost on 134A is approx $9/lb. my cost on yf is $52/lb

so i sell 134a for 28/lb. yf goes for 115/lb. yf is also significantly higher on labor and consumables (the $550 o2 sensor the ac machine uses doesnt last very long so that increases the labor cost on recovery and charging.)

4 motors. 2000 horsepower.

That wing makes a Senna look like it was left out in the cold way too long.

It's just so overdone and pointless. But it looks cool.

I've made a few little quality of life improvements on mine. Finally made the ground wire for the drivers side spare ambient light connector. That let me get the rest of the cab trim back in. It's finally complete aside from a couple little misc plastic covers. Those have little tabs that'll wear out and break, so I'm leaving them off until it's completely finished in the spring.

Got myself a set of Weathertech mats for Christmas.

Image

One of the things I did when I built the roof harness was changed the mirror connector to work with a GM style mirror. I wanted to go frameless, but the later Mustang and Mach-E mirrors don't support the dimming signal for the side mirrors. So I got one from a Cadillac XT5. They're all just Donnely mirrors anyway.

Image

This isn't so much an improvement as something kinda silly. In order to control my seats, I needed the dual zone climate control panel. Since the knobs don't have markings, you need to enable the climate control functions in the Sync screen. All I really care about is the round icon that comes up that shows the temp when you turn the knob. But you also get this clusterfuck as a side effect. It duplicates all of the physical buttons down below.

Image

I'd probably never even go into that screen, but it's the only place you can control the heated steering wheel from once I have that enabled. That's why I briefly looked at trying to install the gen 14 HVAC controls. Those have a physical heated wheel button. Oh well.

Finally, I put the scan tool on it over the weekend. No errors found. :D Well, none that I wasn't expecting. The climate control has a ton of faults because it's missing the passenger side sensors and actuators, but I knew that was going to happen. For now anyway. ;)

Is there a way to add the heated steering wheel button to the Sync home screen? That's where it was on Ashley's Explorer (in addition to the climate control screen). She also only has the touch screen button.
