This says the connectors are waterproof. So now I don't know :d ontknow:

I've seen some Porsche and Lotus installs where they're mounted under the bumper or on the license plate frame.

I'm not worried about driving away with mine hooked up. Between the hatch open warning and the orange cord hanging down the driver's side of the car, I'd have to be a Grade A moron to make that mistake.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

I close my hatch and just let the cord come out the gap. Doesn't seem to cause any problems.

Not really a fan of the exposed prongs on the back of the magnetic connector.

This is what i find comical. There is the neat magnetic coupler, but just up the line there is the OEM coupler that goes to the charger. All of those chargers supply a pig tail that bolts to the battery and then quick connects via their OEM connector to the charger.

Why not extend that OEM coupler to a spot that is convenient for you. Can be in the engine bay, or even tucked away behind the front lower intake port pictured?

It's so the elderly don't drive off with the charger still attached. The OEM connector won't break away smoothly.

These same people have a 'flying roof club'. I'll let you guess how that goes.
