That's exactly what I was thinking for the belts

Yeah I would be super leery about mixing and matching SRS stuff. Likely the same, but not worth the risk for sure.

I usually don't prefer aftermarket taillights, or headlights for that matter, but those look good.

Fun Fact. The eBay shop I got the lights from is just another facet of Morimoto. There's like 5 different lighting businesses operating out of the same address in an industrial park in Atlanta.

The main Morimoto site had an open box set of lights for the same price I paid on eBay, so I had a hunch it was the same people. I was right.

That makes sense really.

Kind of like Fitment Industries, Custom Offsets, and others are all 1 business in Wisconsin, just geared towards different markets.

And at the end of the day, it's all just made by contract manufacturers in China anyway.

I wasn't planning on doing this right now, but Morimoto went and raised the price on all their lights (thanks Trump). So I dug around on eBay and found a seller with a listing at the old price. They honored the sale on mine and then updated their listing to the new, higher price. They even got here early for a change. Much needed wins for me.

I also installed the anti-theft hardware I was sitting on. It's supposed to make the tailgate harder to jimmy open, and it replaces the 8mm hex head screws with tamper resistant Allen heads.

It won't stop someone who's genuinely determined, but it'll slow down the snatch and grab casual thieves. I might even fill the heads with silicone once I get the blind spot hardware installed. We'll see.

Buying the lights brand new also showed me that those used, busted ones I bought were missing a very large and important piece of packaging. This way was better. Zero problems.

Very nice! The Morimotos look great for the 13th gen. Their lights for the 12 and 14th gen are kind of a hot mess.

I think I got lucky. This is the non-blind spot light.

Mori doesn't make tail lights for mine.

Still kind of want the headlights but haven't found something I really like. Mori for the tundra is meh

I installed the theft protection hardware and screws as well. To make it extra annoying I ended up using two different head screws haha.

Those lights look good with the color truck for sure imo.
