Re: Fix Or Repair Daily
My plan for racing the vette is to keep it streetable enough to drive it there and back home. But if it breaks while there, I will need to get it home.
Something to consider I suppose.

I don't know if it's worth keeping as a contingency plan for something that might go wrong a small handful of times in a year.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

You can do quite a few paid flatbed tows covering the potential breakdown if you go racing for what you are paying for the truck.

This. You can tow it for a lot less then what the payments on the truck are per year. And that assumes you even go to the track. I know you want to go, but wanting to go and actually going are pretty different things.alienviking wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 5:24 pm You can do quite a few paid flatbed tows covering the potential breakdown if you go racing for what you are paying for the truck.
Yeah but yours is more functional in other areas than an extended cab F250Chris GTO TT wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 4:52 pm I mean I have a truck to tow my travel trailer 3-5 times a year lol

Yeah which I why I have an F150 instead of the F250 that'd be much more comfortable towing the trailer. But there's an argument to be made that I could rent a F250 for about $500 a week for the handful of times a year we actually tow.aaronatstate wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 5:48 pmThis. I own a truck to tow a car I can't actually buy, so maybe don't listen to me.

Really is a clean truck
Re: Fix Or Repair Daily
Good luck. I think it'll sell pretty fast.

I owe less than private party kbb. About kbb trade in. Only a couple $k difference. So might sell it to a dealer so easier.

Just wait it out you don't need to sell it price on the high side of KBB private party and be willing to come down $1500-$2000.

Still might trade it in plus the outback. Still haven't really made a decision on that yet.
