Gear lube mess would have been much easier to clean up in retrospect.

The registration came in the mail today I'm officially legal to drive it.
Also the rear differential isn't leaking still and my dad and his friend who is a high precision machinist say they can get that broken bolt out.

Rear differential isn't leaking still, took it to have the AC fixed today and now it's blowing cold air. I can actually drive it now

Very cool.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

We are almost that bad here as well. We had a couple of days in the upper 90s but most have been 100+ here in the Yakima Valley since July 4th. In an excessive heat warning and fire watch still. Calling for 100-110 until the 23rd, then finally drop into the mid 90s again.
So glad my cars have good A/C and the A/C in my house was upgraded last year.
