You going to take yours to a "tuning shop" once out of warranty?

Not unless someone figures out a way of truly cracking the encryption on the 23+ trucks.

I’m guessing Ford is going the way GM did and making these newer vehicles basically uncrackable except for maybe factory sponsored tunes.

Yep there's rumors of a Ford Performance tune for F150s finally.

I can't even fully figure out how to swap a higher trim BCM into my truck. There's no way I could get anywhere with this new crypto shit.

Do those taillights plug and play on your truck? The LED lights won't swap on to mine without adding some wires. I think I want to do non-BLIS King Ranch lights, but it's gonna take some work to make them fully functional.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

I can do an adapter on mine, but then you end up with weird shit like the running light being connected to the brake light. There's just not enough signal wires to have everything independent like it should be.

MPG on the way home from the lake... It actually peaked at 24.8 and probably would have been 25mpg had I not caught a red light on the highway.

I've seen it be a little over 1mpg optimistic. Even if it's still 'only' 23mpg in reality that's still about what my old legacy was good for.

SO you have calculated it separately at the pump already? My Fords always read a couple mpg high (2-4) mpg depending on type of driving.
