yeah im pretty sure its not legal to require dealer oil changes for warranty. same as voiding a whole warranty for something unrelated.

I'm a hypocrite though. I got one for my truck. it wasn't too expensive and I really only got it in case something catastrophic happens. It's from a 3rd party, so there's no requirement to go to the dealer.

They pretty much threw in the drivetrain warranty for free on the Jeep but it was such a hassle to deal with I ended up taking it to the local expert shop of my choosing when I had the rear diff rebuilt.

Battery died. Past the 3 yr warranty. But I am pretty sure I had a bumper to bumper 6 year warranty. Wonder if it would have been covered? I left the old battery at autozone and grabbed a new one

Doubt a warranty would cover the battery unless something was mechanically wrong and draining it.

At 10.5 volts. Up from 0.25. Waiting for it to hopefully get to 12 before I try to do any testing.
