I bought it off eBay as black. When I got there he said btw it was maroon. I was too excited to get a vr4 to walk away.

Also went to dive it to work, my old battery said NOPE. So new battery is in order.

Usually I buy a new boat battery, put that one in the car.

Well seems I’m not the only one who can’t get the weave the correct way.

By no means am I near the multi million dollar car. Just pointing out that they didn’t do the weave the same way and they have an open bank account to do whatever they want.

Coop
What if I told you the weave direction is for rigidity and to make the part strong, and not make it all in the same direction for looks

But the looks!!!

I know you’re right. But I’ve seen newer gt40’s all cf and everything same way. I don’t doubt there is a reason. But I also don’t believe it’s just for strength.

Been driving to work. Gotten some pretty good break up around 8psi. Pretty violent. Thinking I should change plugs or something. Odd.

Oil change, plug change, got rid of some old stuff I didn’t need. Hoping the epoxy holds up the cianci fiberglass A pillar. But now I am waiting till morning to get oil level perfect. Pressure test. Good shake down pass. Then wash/wax and get ready for BRG.

I have about 3 weeks of vacation coming up. It has stuff going on, like 4th of July and a trip to NY. But I asked for a day to get the trans out of my car. Worst case it’s my input bearing. Best case it’s the throw out bearing and OS seal.

Do I pull the engine and trans or do I just drop the transmission?

Drop the trans by itself. Gatecrasher method. Should take 4 hours or less.
