Looks like a nice light setup, Jason. What's wrong with your current ones?

My current headlights on the f250? Light output sucks. Compared to my other cars it's like trying to light up the road with candles.

Re: Truck yeah! Dirty Snow Edition
The halogen headlights on Fords 2013-present are horrendous. When we were test driving F250's with the standard halogen headlights Jen immediately commented on just how terrible they were. If I hadn't gotten a truck with the factory LEDs I would have almost immediately upgraded them.
Re: Truck yeah! Dirty Snow Edition
My Ram had projectors with halogens in them. It wasn't nice. I have some nice LED's in there now and its a big improvement.

I just have shitty halogens in my 2012. Definitely need to upgrade but not sure what to do for it
Re: Truck yeah! Dirty Snow Edition
Yea, why spend so much on the higher trim levels and only offer halogens. Bugs me my center tail light was incandescent as well, but my tails are LED as well as inside the cab. That got changed out as well.Chris GTO TT wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 8:05 pmThat's nutty to me it only came with halogens. My 2013 had factory HID.

Yeah you're options are particularly great. I always found it weird Ford did offer a HID option on that generation Super Duty.Duck Vader wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 9:00 pm I just have shitty halogens in my 2012. Definitely need to upgrade but not sure what to do for it

Yeah. The taillights on this truck are all halogens and it's annoying, but not a priority.ChargerX3 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 9:14 pmYea, why spend so much on the higher trim levels and only offer halogens. I have aftermarket bulbs in the Stealth for everything. Been just fine so far. Just had to wire in resistors for the turns to prevent hyper flash.Duck Vader wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 9:38 pm Debated on led bulbs in mine but it seems like a mixed bag on if any good or even safe

Glad I didn't get the 2kW power generator option It's apparently a hot mess.

Note it is a very very different setup than the 2.4kW and 7.2kW hybrid propower kits.

I'm rather enjoying the Ford Pass app where I can double check to ensure the doors are locked from my phone, along with a few other things.

Yup. Love my subaru app. Can open, lock, locate, check tire pressure, fuel left, etc. Basically anything that the car can tell me electronically I get on the app. Both mine and her subaru.

It's really nice to use for remote starting it.Chris GTO TT wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 4:43 am I'm rather enjoying the Ford Pass app where I can double check to ensure the doors are locked from my phone, along with a few other things.
