I really like the white one. White trucks stay cleaner, easy to touch up paint and are always easy to sell.

Id be down for dinner :)

Called Echo Park in Colorado to ask the general questions before having a car shipped or flying out to see it and they were like "well we may not get to it before Monday"

Right!? Even if they want to be CarMax V2.0 they could at least act motivated to turn their inventory.

That white truck in Reno has some weird interior damage, holes in the trim on the center console and a rip in the leather on the center armrest so not going to get it.

Had a small (for me) panic attack before going to meet up with the buyer this afternoon

But I actually feel pretty good right now, and my parents were like "you can drive the Expedition as long as you need."

That's great. Knowing you, I'm sure you got a solid price for it. Now it's on to something better. :)

Got $21,500. Not too much less than what I had agreed to sell it for back in June/July.

I don't know I'm having a really hard time dropping $2400 to ship it. Too many times I've seen something look good online only to show up and have it look like crap. If I pay to ship it and it's a dumpster fire I'm out the shipping money. While I could afford it I'd much rather have something to show for spending $2400 like a new fridge or OLED TV lol

After talking though the important features and equipment with my parents and wife, I think we're going to have to get a Lariat. We used the power folding mirrors all the time on my last truck, and not having them makes it harder to park in the garage. I'd test fit an XLT without the power folding mirrors except for the WRX is sitting there without an engine, so I'm either waiting for a Lariat or I'm getting the WRX running and then test fitting an XLT.

Yeah. The current plan is to have a friend drive up and check out the 2019 on Friday. If he gives the green light then we're shipping it (weather forecast for next weekend is too iffy to risk getting stuck in snow in the Rockies or the Sierras) and buying it. Otherwise I'm buying a new XLT and hopefully getting them to toss me a discount on the power folding tow mirrors as a package deal.

Current update, my friend flaked on looking at the truck for me, and I'm really on the struggle bus thinking about buying a new XLT for $61k.
