By the time I get to an F250 payload is moot because even the ones with low payload have over 2000lbs.

True but the 6.2 would be an improvement over the 5.0 I currently have... 50 lb-ft more torque at 500 rpm lower

Or you could have 555 lb-ft more torque at 2,500 rpm lower. Closer to an hour for me, but I want to do a 24 hour test drive and the trip to Fairfield and back would chew up all the miles they allow.
