I've been in contact with the dealership in Reno with the white truck and even though they have had it on their site since at least before Christmas with full pictures, it's still in the shop for inspection.

Yeah kinda what I'm thinking too. Hopefully they'll make the work order available for the truck.

Kind of sounds similar to my neighbors situation with his new GMC truck. Had some major engine issues they kept trying to fix. Ultimately had to rebuild the whole motor. The dealership ended up buying it back and getting him a new truck to finance.

I kinda want to have that shipped in (free) for a 24 hour test drive to see what it'd really be like...

I'm not sure how committed I am to buy it, but I was warming up to the idea of jumping on that blue one and it went unavailable. I decided to have the F250 shipped so I don't miss out.

Just looked and that blue one sold :(

Not going to lie I really like the look of this https://www.carmax.com/car/24928374 but it's a bit low on payload and shipping would be killer.

I like the king ranch but doesn’t fix your issues.

Coop
It gains me an additional 350lbs of payload and something like 100 more lb-ft of peak torque at like 1500 RPM lower

Soooo IF you are planning to daily the subi, and mainly use this to tow….get the gas one. Diesel doesn’t like to sit, more expensive repairs usually, and you don’t have to worry about all the bullet proofing/fuel additive, exhaust regen…and just overall stuff with a diesel.

Just my .02
