That stick was given to me by a local 3/s that has passed. I doubt I will ever get the struts.

Got one mirror all the way taken apart. Now I could put it all back together in about 10 mins but where would be the fun in that? Almost all the screw in this thing are corroded and look like shit. And it should…they havnt seen the light of day since 1992. But I think I’m gonna clean them up and maybe put a light coat of paint on them. Or honestly I would rather just buy some new ones.

Also when you take the glass off it has this sticky stuff on it. It seemed to hold the glass better than the tabs, anyone know where I can get any of that?

This is the screw for the corroded ones. I wish they had stainless steal but they don’t? Odd. Also those are 12mm where factory is 10mm length. I would prob just add a lock washer.

Where I have my pre-oil switch, my blackstealth logger knob, and active aero…just look…not great. I will get a picture but it’s one part of the car that I use and dislike. The switch is just coming through the old cruise controller spot, looks redneck. The knob is hidden in the 12v switch…which is nice until you are using it. Well oohnoo makes a 3d printed part that doesn’t look 3d printed at all. It’s amazing and here is how mine will look.


Had to mock out and find centers for things.


Trace, drill, saw, and file to get it perfect.


And done.



Now I just need my CF center to come in, swap out the cig lighter for a clean usb slot and my cup holder. Man will it look so much nicer.

Wonder if any car people that traveled over there would bring it back as carry on and then ship it in states to me.

It would be reflective as hell. It honestly would need some sort of material on the reflective surfaces. You see it on supercars.

You could just scratch that ish up with a Scotch pad.

Broke every tab of that 3d printed part. Also the upper left corner isn’t same as oem. Overall I would still go with it as I can make it look right. But I don’t know if it’s worth the money. Now I get to epoxy a nut on the bottom and then make a bar that holds it on under it.

what was it printed in? Should be in something like ABS/PETG/nylon or something. Is the file available? pretty easy to have stuff printed these days.

I would print it, but bob designed and is selling it. So not like I can throw it in my printer.

Maybe not a carry on, but as a checked bag. I doubt it'd be that much worse than a golf bag or skis.
