Getting a bit more serious about my land boat

Got some answers. They are going to put it up on a lift and get some pics/videos for me when they get a chance.

Ford 9" posi, but unsure of gears. Supposedly the ford 9 is strong than the chevy 12.

Driver side rear quarter panel is starting to show some signs of rust but that is all they see.

Turbo 400 transmission.

Put it this way, if this was a clean true factory 427 all original, we would be looking at upper 6 figures in price. Most you find in this range are 350/350 combos or even the smaller 307 or 327. Couple with the 396 but far and few between.

That is definitely not top dollar for a 69 like that.. personally I'd be more into getting a driver than a top dollar show car because I'd want to drive it. I do like the color etc of this one a lot. And I like the Camaro far better than the boat but that is just my personal opinion hah.

More rust than I would like to see if I am honest. But again, at that price point, it is probably about right.

He also noted:

Wiring is a little ugly, but doesn't seem to have any problems.
Lights and everything work.

The paint to me, is a 10-15 footer. I tried to highlight the flaws, but it was hard to get it to show up on video/photos.
It's a sweet color and looks great in the sun, but its on the cheaper side of paint jobs, therefor the prep wasn't great.

It looks like a good driver. It's just really tough to say if you're going to be looking at body rot in the near future.

That is my biggest concern the more I look at the video. Rust/rot. If just surface it can be saved, but if already rotting, ugh. Turns into a big project.

Never been a fan of the Hugger Orange.. personal taste hah. I always thought the Camaro looks better in darker colors.
