I like how that wrapped one looks. I mean you’ve definitely had bigger projects. Even if it’s got 262k on it, it’s a Toyota so…

My rule is if the exterior looks bad... the interior and overall car health is just as bad. I could be wrong though.

That’s just not fair. Lots of cars have clear coat issues and has zero to do with mechanic or care.

Completely agree. This car is obviously rode hard and put away wet.

Yea, the bad dents all over and the "custom" wheels scream adolescents misconduct. I would run.

Coop
There's a difference between a clean car with 'typical' clear coat issues and a car like this one.

I love how you guys are critiquing a 260k+ mile, $4000 car.

Trying to prevent it from turning into a 260k mile $15,000 car ;)

And this is coming from a guy with a 254k mile car that's now like $8k and doesn't run yet lol

I agree. This is suppose to be a fun car. It’s also suppose to be a little work to make it right since jeff can mechanic.

Jeff if I were you I think you are on the right path. Just don’t force it. A good deal is when you are in the right place with the money…not just find something.

Amy would be so jealous if you got an SC430 especially if it were the Pebble Beach Edition. :-)

Wow. Not feeling the love/support. It's okay. This is looking like a worse and worse idea...

I keep thinking I'll have surgery soon. I don't really need this. :eh:

Whenever you use forceful and overt verbal persuasion to try to convince others to see things your way, they're probably not listening to what you say, Instead they're looking for every error in you your logic and mistakes in your facts, all the while constructing counterarguments. Worse still, they don't merely believe you're wrong; they need you to be wrong in order to protect the status quo. And since the final judge exists in their own head, you lose every time. - The Influencer

Life is too short not to enjoy it. If you want a vert, go for it. Beth really wanted one, she got one and we do enjoy it now and then but far less than we thought we would. And the lack of trunk space has become an issue so with those two I don't think she will get another one.

But she got it checked off her bucket list and is glad she did. Might be the same thing for you.

She wanted the black with red interior, right? There were six PB editions. The spec changed each year.

2005: Black Diamond Metallic + Pimento https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3gDZ2X ... ch-edition
