Does it have to be new/sporty? Plenty of older cool convertibles out there that are not classic muscle cars. Especially if you just want something to cruise around in.

I don't think there's anything older than 2000-ish that we'd be interested in, but we're certainly up for suggestions.

Grey: You’re Comfortably Cautious
It’s not an insult to say that people who choose grey cars prefer to keep things bland. You’re more than happy to compromise for a car color that’s not exactly inspiring for the sake of getting a good deal when you drive off the lot.

As someone who keeps to yourself, you prefer not to have head turns when you drive by. You appreciate the fact that your grey car keeps you a bit unnoticed and anonymous. You may be at a point in life where you’re “over” making big statements using external objects because you’re simply at peace with who you are.

Whenever you use forceful and overt verbal persuasion to try to convince others to see things your way, they're probably not listening to what you say, Instead they're looking for every error in you your logic and mistakes in your facts, all the while constructing counterarguments. Worse still, they don't merely believe you're wrong; they need you to be wrong in order to protect the status quo. And since the final judge exists in their own head, you lose every time. - The Influencer

Heh this is one of the reason I'd love a Toyota Land Cruiser... anonymous luxury wealth flex unless you know.... and most don't know.

99 isn't a convertible, and we're not doing something we've already done. That also rules out the otherwise attractive Audi A5 or S5 convertible.

Volvo C70? Should be able to find one around that price.

Or Lexus SC430?

C70 is ok. SC430 is a nice car, but kinda bloated looking.

Chris, I can't see your link.

Neighbor has a SC430 as his nice weather car. He loves it but I can't help but agree that the design is sub par and bloated hah.

I love my dark gunmetal grey'ish car (and Beth's vert in the same more or less color). I have gotten one speeding ticket in my 25 or so years of spirited driving in the US and that was in the ex' red SUV hah. Personal preference obviously but there aren't many cars at all that look good to me in red - the dark red Mazda is decent but anything brighter.. nope. That includes Ferraris.

Amy loved her Sebring convertible (as you know). I didn't really care for the 'top down' driving experience nearly as much as she did.
