If any of you come across a front valance from a 11-16 f250 2wd, let me know. Want to swap it out.

Curious as to why? Isn't it a whole lot lower? Also it may be cheaper to just go to Ford and buy a new one instead of paying shipping.

The 2wd one is a lot shorter and just looks a lot better. The 4wd ones are longer to cover the car catchers under the front bumper and because they sit taller. The 2wd ones are shorter. So have to remove the car catchers and might lose a negligible amount of mpg. They are about $100-200 from what I have seen to buy direct from ford for guarantee oem plus tax and shipping.

The 4wd is the one on top.

Bought a set of used morimoto hybrids for $350. Once they get here I'll install those and my front facing camera.

Still trying to find a valance. I can go aftermarket for about $60 but I also kind of want to go OEM for quality but those are crazy expensive in comparison.

Headlights arrived in a box smashed to hell and the headlights broken in multiple places making them completely unusable.

Fucking hell.

Every time we get something via FedEx it arrives damaged.

That really sucks. You can also put some blame on the shipper though. Whenever I ship anything even slightly delicate, I basically turn the box into a solid block of packing material.

I wish I had taken a picture of the tire pressure tool I just got on eBay. Fortunately it came in its own carrying case. But the guy tossed the case in an way-too-big box, and put a single, empty, crushed USPS flat rate box in there as "padding". It was just floating around in the bigger box when it arrived. Fortunately nothing was damaged.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

All they used was paper padding in a thin box. Luckily although used they will do a refund

That's good. Shame it didn't work out though.

Ordered some small led light bars found on sale. $50 for a pair. I'll use those in the meantime if needed until I get some better headlights.

Do you know what is hard to find in the aftermarket? Skid plates for this damn thing. Would love to pick a couple up. Might need to see if I can find a fx4 f250 in a junk yard that still has them intact.

Been doing quite a bit of research on the performance of this thing.

Looks like exhaust is not really worth it other than noise (duh) for something this big. Tune would wake up the throttle response. But almost everyone recommends swapping to 4.30 gears from the 3.73, especially when running mountains and have the tires I have or bigger.

Going to do some looking around and see what costs locally would be. Might be worth doing it depending on cost. I am going to guess $2500-3000. Might also toss in a front locker while they are at it.

There is a good chance I might be daily driving this for a bit as well. Danielle is thinking about selling her Kia while the market for them is still decent. KBB trade in is about $13k. Then she will daily my Subaru until the 2024 Foresters come out, then she will get one of those.

Sounds like a solid plan. Guess you're planning to keep this thing for a good long time.

Sounds like a lot of extra $$$ on a truck that is already capable.

A buddy of mine from my jeep days sent me a pair of these. Getting them next week. Not sure where I want to put them. Was thinking in the grille?
