265/70/17 is stock
Thinking I might just do 285/75/17.
Stock wheels are only 7.5 wide so 285 is about the limit.
Would go from 31.6 to 33.8. 33.9 if I get falkens. Would think about 35 but would need new wheels. 37s would require a little bit of a lift.

With that wheel gap up front I almost wonder if it has a leveling kit along with the bags in the rear. Need to take a better look. Just haven't had the time.
Front shock bushings are definitely showing their age.

Didn't realize they were smaller than the tires on my F150. I'm not sure if I'd go to a 34 but definitely a 33. I'd be worried about killing the gearing with too tall or a tire.

Re: Fix Or Repair Daily
33.2 was an option from factory so 33.9 is not much of an issue. Lol.
Even 35s are not that bad.

I doubt you'll notice it. 1" is nothing.
Just keep the width in check. Regarding tires....I can't say enough good things about the bfg ko2.

285 is about the most width I can do on the 7.5 rim. Unless I get new wheels too.

Might try toyo at3 honestly. Better reviews for the conditions I'll see here
Re: Fix Or Repair Daily
Same. I'd love to put a set on the H3, but damn....$1700 is a nice chunk of a down payment on something I actually want.Coop wrote:Gah I wanted the bfg but holy hell are they proud of them
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Still wish I could have bought the used pair on the set of rims that was newer.

My last two chevys had the sucide doors. Not a big issue. Ideally a crew cab would be better but in reality the 8ft bed is better for the business and I didn't want a crew can with 8 ft bed.

Really without kids you dont need much space back there. I get the longer bed then.
[quote=""DCIV""]It really is the first thing I noticed.
That and Ive been looking at the spring air bags to help the wifes Tahoe on the trip to NY tow, and later in the avalanche. Soooo that too.

Odd yours are 17" stock. My 2016 had 18" wheels stock that look identical. I wouldnt go much bigger or crazy on tires. You are not going to be driving it much so save the $.

Ehhhh dont get all the hype with those. Thats what was on my avalanche. They were not loud, decent in the rain, but did not have great snow traction or even great traction overal.

I think it used to be a cost benefit thing, but now they're not much cheaper than other tires.

KO2' are old garbage tech. Put them in a slippery environment and they'll disappoint. Honestly only good for pavement pounding and light trails.
