Heavy duty air compressor

Post by DCIV »

But small.

I’ve been using a HF small one for upstairs tires and for the model A tires. You can hear it having problems now. I’m sure it’s a plastic piston and what not.

Are there heavy duty small air compressors out there? Nothing that can run real air tools but something that is just gonna last a long time.

i have this one and its pretty stout. If you want better id recommend something like an ARB or something geared towards offroading.

How do you feel about it not having a tank? Weird to me having a compressor but no tank.

Are you talking about for a vehicle or for home use?

A small one that I can use at home. But I’m sure Aaron got that from me saying I air up tires with it. That’s pretty much all I do with it. But I think I would like a tank, even if small.

The use case you described implies something like Ryan posted will meet your needs, but it sounds like you want a good either pancake or job site style compressor. Check out the fortress line at harbor freight.

I have this for my home use compressor. https://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools ... 57336.html

It is great. Very quiet and so far has done everything I needed of it.

Granted most of my tools are lithium now I have needed air a few times and it did the job.

It also used to be half the price. Thanks trump

Yeah that's what I'd like to replace my craftsman with but prices have gotten too nuts. Same with wheels The Trump tariffs really jacked up their prices too.

Yeah that’s what I have too. A craftsman. I need a small one but Steve’s and mine definition of small are totally different. Lol.

I have an American made Campbell from the 90's that's like 20 gallon. Its loud but it packs a punch.

Use to be able to find more US made stuff. Thanks Clinton's. ;)
