I will make a new thread about it once I have it in my possession.

He found the unicorn. I'll be damned.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Re: Going to need a tow/haul rig
Running into bit of a road block.
From the dealer:
Not sure if I want them to fix or take the discount. I don't know when I'll be able to get it if I wait.
Asked for more info on the seepage but haven't heard back.
From the dealer:
Problem is I don't have a day off again until Xmas or January.Hey Jason, thank you for your patience! Spoke with my Manager. We just found a seepage on the truck, it will cost $800 for us to fix. Now it is scheduled to be fixed early next week, it's an 8 hour job. We are a straight forward dealer and most dealerships wouldn't even worry about and just send the truck on it's way. We value our customers and our products that we sell. I have a couple of options for you to choose from. 1. Wait for us to fix the seepage early next week and we schedule a delivery meet up/or you drive down here when its all handled. OR 2. You prefer to take it as it is without us handling the fixings and my Manager said we can discount the truck by $800 for you. That way we can have someone meet you this Saturday for your new truck. Let me know on what you decide! Thanks again for your patience.

It was a late night text message from them. Waiting to hear a better description today.

In general they have been really communicative and straight forward with me. That was a text from the salesperson at the end of the night last night. Asked for more clarification but didn't see the message until after they closed. He should get back to me today.

My thoughts exactly. 99% of car/truck buyers are usually idiots.

8 hours of labor and $800 total fix price? That's some cheap labor!

Re: Going to need a tow/haul rig
If I had to guess based on price and estimated hours, rear main seal leak. But we will see what happens.
Re: Going to need a tow/haul rig
I’m okay with his wording. He doesn’t know if jason knows anything about cars and that’s might all he’s been told. I would be happy he said something. That being said, have them fix it and find out what it is. Then, pay someone to deliver it for you. Or go down after you get off work or weekend. You are making way bigger deal about this than needs to be.
