Yep.
DEF is super sensitive to contamination. The last one I pulled was completely caked in mud. It took me almost 30 minutes of cleaning before I was comfortable with opening the tank up to replace the heater (that is also a very common failure).

Re: Going to need a tow/haul rig
The more I think about it the more I debate on taking out a loan if I can get a good enough rate. Right now I have $1k set aside a month for extra spending. Once student loans kick in - most calculators say $300 at most, that leaves me with $700 a month to play around with. If I can put just a little bit down on something and keep my payments under $300 or so a month I think it might be worth looking into.

[quote=""vr4""]Possibly. If it were a Ford 6.7 it would probably be 40.

Starting to like the idea of the 6.2 f250 more and more lately over the GM.

Id prefer that ford I just posted over the chevy I posted before, but the chevy is $10k cheaper. That is a BIG difference.

Yeah I feel like the 6.2 F250 would be great for me too but I kept being told it's a bad idea. I can't find any evidence it's a bad motor though :d ontknow:

It's good from what I've seen too. I just think the difference between the 5.0 and 6.2 isn't worth it in the f150 but it's great for the 250 if you don't need the diesel

Unloaded daily driving I agree but loaded down or towing the 6.2 is worth it in an f150. Especially considering it's more reliable than the Ecoboost

Re: Going to need a tow/haul rig
As much as I like the ford I'm not sure if I can justify spending that much. If the gym fails I'd have invested way too much into a truck that's overkill. The chevy at least is cheaper.

I drive a super long truck fire truck. I could put that thing anywhere. But man if I had that I would only wanna use it when I needed a truck, not for daily. Lots of these guys talking about daily driving. Gross.

Luckily mine will be a truck truck. No daily. But still needs to be able to handle cross country hauling.
