The fire dept has a “first fire truck” it’s a 1916 and was used by the dept and when they were done it was out in a park and just left to rot while people played on it. About 10yrs ago they got to restoring it. They havnt done much for years on it but it runs and drives and is cool. I go to the car show every year and it’s the only time I let my youngest ride in my vr4. Mainly because car seat and exhaust smell. Also it gets super hot inside with no AC.

Ran the wires to hot wire the wipers last night. Need a couple connectors and fuse to finish it up today.

For me it was a clean instal. Since I was hotwiring it just got a connector from someone, tapped the low and high speed to a switch, and gave the switch power. This way I didn’t have to destroy my harnes.



And they work. I put the switch under the arm rest so it’s out of the way. I prob need new wipers now but hey, at least I can take it to work and what not.

Drove the car into work again.

I have my wing wired with a relay so I can just push the button and it flip the wing up. Love it. Havnt had a problem.

Yesterday on the way into work the wing will not go up. Thought that was odd.

Get to work and shut off the engine but still bumping loud music, because I’m a grown up with kids and don’t have subs in the daily driver, and the wing works. Okay, whatever.

Go to leave work, flip the wing up, sweet. Turn on the headlights….wing goes down. Wait what?! Can flip back up. Turn off head lights, wing flips up….turn on lights…wing down

It’s all taped in the back? Could a flip of the wing and like low voltage make the relay lower the wing?

I just went to one locally with the Cap. Lol

My tires are wearing badly on the outside. I’m not worried about it. They are 8yrs old and honestly I need to fix this suspension before getting them. But I struggle to spend the money since I’m having issues even running 1 tank of fuel through it a year. Along with the exhaust smell.

I drove it today. So much fun. But so many things I just want to fix that are rabbit holes.

I wish someone would figure out rebuilding the factory shocks.
