That’s perfect. Gas burner! I would want a supercharger for the lulz and of course lockers. And it would be perfect.

I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

The spec sheet lists both gas engines with the single cab too.

Been thinking about this one a lot.

Wife wants me to eventually either get an old wrangler to modify or a side x side to go off-roading and get to camp sites/areas that you can't get to with trucks or subarus. Also will still be getting my chevelle eventually so looking at car haulers as well that has sides. So besides gym stuff (meeting with local gym in a couple of weeks to see about running their 2nd location part time around work), I would also be hauling cars, sxs, etc.

I like it, gas engine, decent miles…not horrible price.

Me too, but it is 300 miles away. Long drive to go see it and find something wrong.

Call up a salesman. Explain to him that you will not only chew him out but complain to the boss if you drive all that way to find something stupid obvious wrong. Then have him on the phone walk around it with you.

Kind of asked this before, but didn't get a response.

Diesel.

Since I'm limited based on what I'm looking for, is it worth looking at diesel or should I stick with gas?

More than likely although the 8.1 can be harder to find I'm looking at those for gm because the Allison is that much nicer. Unless I add in the dmax, it really limits me. Maybe if I can find a decent lbz dmax?

Ford only real good solution seems to be either old 7.3 diesel or 05+ 3v v10.

Thoughts?

Only thing I hate about diesel is I don’t feel okay working on them. High pressure pumps and other odd things I know nothing about.

That's my biggest issue as well. Gas engines are all pretty much the same. If you can work on one you can work on most. Diesel though I've never personally touched.

Older diesels are pretty easy.
