Yep and GM has a history of cars blowing side curtain while being used as they were designed.

After all the stories Vira read about misfires, I very seriously considered deleting the roof bags entirely. Vira vetoed that.

Yeah for me if it was a mostly toy rig I'd be deleting everything

I've been trying to drive that as much as circumstances allow, but the H3 is the true daily.

Has anyone got any ideas for dealing with this streak on the back window? We're pretty sure it's because of a roof rack high-lift jack mount that was dripping rusty rainwater down on it. It's definitely not on the inside. I've tried Simple Green and brake parts cleaner so far. Nothing has made a dent.

Hmm. I might have to try that. I found a used on on eBay for $75 shipped, so I really don't have anything to lose.

It seems like a silly thing given the overall condition of the truck, but I see it every single time I get in. It bothers me.

If that doesn't work, maybe try Simple Green or Purple Power.

Already tried Simple Green. The only thing it took off was dirt

I've got some driveway acid from my recent power washing day. I just need to keep it off the paint...

Try the 0000 steel wool. I've used it on windshields before

Dilute muriatic acid. Keep the paint wet, have help, white scrubber pad (not green). Wear gloves.

My dad used to remove hard water stains. Rust stains are essentially the same thing.

Also just have some household ammonia cleaner handy next to you. It will stop the acid from doing it's thing as well.
