Holy poop I wanna sell the avalanche for that! Wish it was 4 door short bed with the top and 8.1 with 80k on it. Would be perfect for me.

Long bed extended cab is perfect for me. Just not spending money at the very moment. Had to throw a lot more at the house than planned and need to buy some more gym equipment. Then I will see where finances are (should know in the next week or two) and go from there.

Danielle asked again when am I buying a truck. She said I should probably look at just regular cab trucks. Now that I am cutting ties with Kabuki I won't be needing to go as far as often. So don't really need that much interior room. Still wants 4WD though.

I dunno. With as big as you are, I'd probably still go extended cab. But maybe I'm underestimating the room in a newer single cab truck.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

That is kind of where my head it at too. Biggest limiting factor is the 8 ft bed. Really hard to find.

Any real reason to avoid a GMT400 K2500?

Like this?

454 and should have the 80 behind it I believe.

My first truck was a 96 gmt400 and it was reliable but that was 20 yrs ago

I wouldn't touch one. Brakes are too small. Poor power and mpg.

Arnt the brakes easily fixed with simple newer years of rotor and calipers?

The 454 did great at torque but didn’t have a lot of power if I remember correctly. So it should last a long time. Lol

Looked into it. Apparently the knuckle stops bigger calipers being put on but you can swap in nbs ones.

I think it would be fun to get one of those, put a 10 speed auto behind it, then some super big rear end. Look old, but pull bad ass.

Im sure it’s stupid but hey, it’s never gonna happen so chill.

They ever make, single cab, short bed, dually with a big block gas burner? Ford or Chevy? That would be so bad ass.

I think Ford did some with the gas 460 motor but not common.

Basically the same as the GM from the era. Terrible mpg low power decent torque, smallish brakes.

Just trying to think money vs truck. They are on average about 1/2 the cost of the mid 2000s ones.

Even Danielle likes that one, exactly what I'm looking for, but it's 200 miles away. Hate to make the drive then see it's not worth it.

You can get that seat foam fixed as well. I like it. Not as much as some of the others but it’s nice.
