Yeah I kinda want it myself but it's seriously overkill for anything I plan to do. Either that or it'd just sit behind the gate at my house and would only be used occasionally.

If its diesel, they dont like to sit. So I would only do that with a gas burner.

Personally I'd get an old 6.2 gm diesel before a Navistar 6.4
They're that bad.

Getting up there on miles. Might be able to get it cheaper.

Rebuilt titles. Worth it or run away?

Only at the right price. Remember you are gonna have to sell it and its gonna be just as hard.

Depends on the cause imo. Hail can salvage something. Ugly but otherwise fine.
My 97 is a salvage. Bent rear control arm. Couldn't find a new one so after 6 months they totaled it.

Salvage is fine as long as you expect to a difficult process selling it and at a very low price.
For me its too risky and the return on investment is as bad as it gets.

If you are only gonna use it for a year then get what you need, accept the payments as part of the price and get out of it as soon as you can.
