While we're all armchair quarterbacking this thing, Coop is out getting it done. :D

Safe travels back to TN. Then the real work begins.

Conquering the hill.

Look at that fancy old rig. Its the coup (or should i say Coop). Has dual rear taillights, and additional front headlights. Looks like a well optioned keeper.

So it has a very rare heater option, also the pin strip is not rare but not common. It was the dealers daughter who drove it and only had dealer plates on it. So I’m sure everything was kept up on it.

It does have a couple different tires, don’t know why. It does have a better idling carb.

Only one window rolls down, the mechanisms are stopped for some reason. One window crank is broke. One window glass is broke. Gas tank is bad, fuel filter is bad. Lots of grease around anything that turns.

Just need to go front to back with it and make it run. That’s the goal. Make it run but that’s it. I’m not going all coop on this. Run, and drive it a couple times a year.

I would recommend adding "turn" and "stop" to your list of mechanical requirements.

Hahahaha. When I say run, I mean all those things. I want to take my kids in parades with it, so it better be able to do all those things.

Honestly, after looking at model A’s for the last year. The pick up trucks I find cool. I would want to box the frame, v8 it, ac, bigger tires but not too big, but make it so I can launch the ski boat with it but also drive it around.

That’s if I was mess with one.

I should start a thread….the Oldsmobile. Now it’s cool. It’s one I’m allowed to modify. All my friends say don’t though. Friends that build rat rods say don’t.

Customizing old cars is a lot of work. Just keep it simple.

That looks taller than I expected it to be. Cool car, good luck with getting it back in shape!

It’s 6’ with the tires inflated. We had to air them out for it to go in the trailer.

The great grandpa made the father in law stop at his moms cemetery spot. And they told her how her great granddaughter is taking the model A home. The father in law, was crying so bad he couldn't finish telling my wife and she couldn't quit crying.... like, I better do this thing right.
