You know most wrecks are pretty close to home right?

That’s a flawed statistic.

Every statistic can be looked at in a flawed way. But yes it’s prob because that’s where you spent most your time.

Hell I think a ton of people still live within X distance of their birth place.

Yep. Statistically spend the most time there. Also become the most comfortable.

Nope. Pretty far from my birth place

Got the steam cleaner out and made myself feel a tiny bit better.

I seriously hate when companies put their shit on the cars. It's always the first thing I fix.

I get the car inspected and send back the doc packet. They get the temp tag within a couple business days and send it to me. The clock starts on my 7 days to decide if I want to return the car.
You could really screw them if the clock doesn't start until you get your temp tag.

Not that you would considering its a hard spec to find but could you imagine the shit storm you would ignite it you went to give it back on day 6 after having the car for over a month?

The thought has occurred to me. But like you said, this was a super hard spec to find. Especially at this price. That's the only reason I'm putting up with this.

I think Missouri gives you 30 days from the date of purchase to apply for a title. Then the fines start. That'll be May 14th. My first payment is also due on that date. I've already got the first bill from the financing company.

Things really need to start happening.
Are you sure they are sending you a Missouri temp tag and not one from the state the car came from?
If they intended to give him a CA temp tag...it should have come with the car, not still waiting on it 2 weeks later.

I think that's part of what's maddening here.

I even posted on the FB with a terrible review, and it's still there with no acknowledgement. They don't even have someone watching their social presence for pissed off customers.

Everyone, feel free to reply to my post. :p

Whenever you use forceful and overt verbal persuasion to try to convince others to see things your way, they're probably not listening to what you say, Instead they're looking for every error in you your logic and mistakes in your facts, all the while constructing counterarguments. Worse still, they don't merely believe you're wrong; they need you to be wrong in order to protect the status quo. I watched another McLaren 12C go for well under 40k the other day. It wasn't even that badly wrecked. I'm almost wishing I had gone that route for no other reason than to avoid the stupid shoe jokes.

As someone who has worn new balances since high school, what does that make me?
