I wonder if it's usually that bad or just because of the cross country thing.
What’s that matter though? Same paperwork. Just email/fax/snail mail it out. Done.

I’m betting they suck at life. They prob shift off the tree. Their clutch master is out and they can’t get out of 1st. They grew up only roll racing and never shifted.

I’m cracking myself up. Sorry if no one else finds it funny.

Think they have ever seen the video of the girl and the 3000gt with the shifter?

They are slipping the clutch a little much.

Quick Google search seems to show selling to shift is fine. Buying not so much. Customer service is really bad.

I knew it was going to be a hassle. But I thought it would be ok since I was supposed to have a temp tag from day one.

The worst part is the repetitive bad info. Their case notes are just wrong, and their front line people are getting garbage, inconsistent info from their upstream people. The worst part is having to constantly call in just to get this treatment over and over.

Keep better notes. Call me back when you say you're going to call me back. If something is going to take 4 days, tell me it'll take 4 days. I'd prefer accurate bad news to bullshit and lies and wishful thinking and being ghosted.

Yeah I much prefer to have accurate information, even if it's not what I want to hear, than to keep getting jacked around and saying it's coming etc.

Sounds like this company jumped into the car market headfirst without a lifejacket, and doesn't really know how to swim.

Fuck these guys. As long as they get my title done before they go out of business, I won't shed a tear.

In the last year Shift Technologies saw its revenue grow by 225%. That's well above most other pre-profit companies. So the hefty 77% share price crash makes us think the company has somehow offended market participants. Something weird is definitely impacting the stock price; we'd venture the company has destroyed value somehow.
Oh yeah, huge mystery how they're destroying value...

Missouri temp tags have a hologram. I couldn't remember if they did or not until we were on our way over to Vira's parents place tonight. They can't email it.

Do you just need the temp tag to drive it to get the real one? How far? Is there other paperwork you need?

I only ask because if it’s just to dive over there and you don’t want to without a tag then in town towing here is 35 bucks. Renting a car hauler is just a little more.

None of those you should have to do but it might just be time to put these people in your rear view and shift a gear and disappear.

Are you sure they are sending you a Missouri temp tag and not one from the state the car came from?
