Seems like most of the cars and trucks you've posted are white with tan or light gray interiors.

A lot of white cars tend to come with tan interiors, but I much prefer black, or saddle leather brown.

If I buy it I'll probably do the mount and the catch cans, but not sure about much else. I would want to keep it legalish for the GS class of autox

Yeah the ST/RS didn't even have a tan interior option. All black baby, and just varying levels of Recaros!

Those are the most important ones anyway. Short shifter is just because the stock shifter is like a 1G 3/S shifter  Exhaust is because the stock exhaust doesn't sound like anything really haha

Picked up the FoST for a 24 hour test drive from CarMax last night. Its not as comfortable and feels more crampt than the GTI I had for 2 weeks back in July. It was rainy and drizzly here lastnight and the cheapo chineese tires didn't like it. One wheel peel through 2nd gear  The carseats fit, but are tighter than it was in the GTI. Overall the car is super clean save for 2 pretty big chips on the hood by the passenger side washer nozzel. On the plus it should be a lot cheaper to maintain and repair, MaxCare to 75k miles is $1500, and Ford ESP (top level) is $1540 to 85k miles.

My wife has yet to really be able to look at it so I'm unsure if we're keeping it yet. While yes its my car I'm not about to buy something she hates and won't ride in.

I drove a escape that was a titanium and those seats are soooooo much better than my SE version. I have even thought about trying to find some other seats as long trips are not fun. But I know aaron likes his seats.

Or go a little more managable... https://www.carmax.com/car/21689400

Or go affordable... https://shift.com/car/2017-white-volksw ... ti/c148322

Back in July when I got the GTI I took back because of previous mods, we drove an R back to back with a GTI and both felt the R was almost too refined.

I meant it as get an R.

My ST was a lot of fun, and a great DD, but I was always wanting the RS. It's an even more daily driver, and if I didn't have my Stealth would make for a great fun car. I feel like the same should apply GTI vs Golf R.
