Reviews look better than most I’ve read for that model. That’s good at least.

I dunno at those prices I'd be inclined to just take my chances.

That's why I said my 32k car is turning into a 40k car fast.

Whenever you use forceful and overt verbal persuasion to try to convince others to see things your way, they're probably not listening to what you say, Instead they're looking for every error in you your logic and mistakes in your facts, all the while constructing counterarguments. Worse still, they don't merely believe you're wrong; they need you to be wrong in order to protect the status quo. And since the final judge exists in their own head, you lose every time. - The Influencer
Is the level of bullshit you have to go through to change things in a direction you want, less than than or equal than the level of current bullshit?
Re: Once in a blue moon...
They did offer me 6k for the Mazda. And while I don't usually believe in trading in cars, I don't think I'm going to get a better deal than that, from what I've seen.

Definitely trade it in. Not worth the hassle of trying to sell private party in the current environment.

We had a number we wanted from the wifes edge and they actually came in above it. I think they are more market correct than KBB at the moment.

Re: Once in a blue jellybean...
Now you guys know what I have to deal with.
"I want one with angles and creases!"
Lexus NX
"It needs to come in a cool shade of blue"
Lexus NX
"What's that one I like? The one with the angles"
Lexus NX
"I like the Evoque too"
Ok. Those don't come in bright blue. And they're not especially sharp and angular.
"Maybe red would be ok..."
"How much power do those have?"
Less than the Mazda.
"
What's something that's quick and has a pano sunroof and comes in a nice shade of blue? "
SQ5. If you can find one in Sepang Blue.
So we went from slow Japanese origami to fast German Jellybean.

I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Re: Once in a blue jellybean...
Carmax by me has always been lowest in terms of offers to buy my used cars. The local Kuni Auto Group always beat them by a couple of thousand every time at least.
