After my order I'll have skids on the engine, transmission, fuel tank, and rear diff.

Already broke a control arm and wheel speed sensor wire. Need more protection. Lol
I’m not going off road. I just need enough ground clearance to get in my garage, fast enough I find fun-ish, and good enough gas mileage that I don’t care to drive anywhere. All while being reliable. That vehicle clicks all the boxes all while knowing it’s awd system is better than my escapes.

I get it. I still actually really like the looks of the CTS wagon as well..

Auto start/stop.

It annoys me. Car jerks with every start up.

it keeps a running total of gas saved.

At the current rate I'll save 1 tank of gas....... by around the 60k miles mark.... Ya that's worth it...

So starting to get into the habit of turning it off every time I get in the car.

They make delete or bypass options for other vehicle. May have something for the Subaru.

Yes you can turn it off every time but this makes it so you don't have to.

It is just a button on the screen. Easy to hit. Right next to the where I set my phone. So not a big deal.

It’s really only beneficial if you do a lot of city driving really.

Looks like most of the skids and hitch are on back order.

Depending on how long I might have to go aftermarket

Giving them 2 more weeks to hopefully get more of the parts in. Plan on installing everything the week of the 18th.
No problem

Plan on picking up whatever parts are there on the 18th. I know hitch, bars, and a couple skids are there but the fascia that covers the opening on the bumper after install and a couple of the other skids are still on back order so giving them another week to show up.

Hope to install whatever I can that week.

If I need a 2nd pair of hands are you available any evening that week or the weekend of the 23/24?

Cool.

It all looks easy to do but is kind of a pain with just one person and the Mrs won't be able to help much with her injury.

Yeah even if that second person isn't doing much that little bit helps a ton. I have no problem coming down on the weekend. Just let me know. No reason to get hurt or stressed out to save a couple days.
