Re: Why?
I did find out I can drift it on a dirt road. Lol.
The turbo is amazing in this thing. Plenty of hp and torque to get me in trouble on dirt roads.

Ya they mark tow points.
The plastic is ugly but saved my ass a few times already hitting rocks and branches. sides pretty scraped up. assuming they will buff out. the bumpers got hit hard enough I assume they would be deep scrapes if painted.

And I happen to like the bronze accents on the silver car. I think the silver with the black and bronze is the only combo that looks good.

Re: Why?
Once I get it fixed at the dealership I'm going to get the front windows tinted and look at possibly getting a thule cargo box. Not sure if it will work with the garage though height wise. Low garage door opening.

Re: Why?
pretty positive I am going to have to pay for the Subaru repair. I was looking at it today. Saw the rear lower control/trailing arm is smashed to hell and the parking brake cable attached to it is smashed/split. Must have hit a rock or something kicked up and destroyed it. That won't be covered under warranty.

[quote=""ChargerX3""]Those drives sound a little more spirited that I initially thought.

Oh I pushed it hard.
Had to spend a couple of hours with a buffer after I got home getting rid of all the new pin stripes. Plastic parts still have it but the paint looks better as long as you don't look too hard.
Getting a rear diff guard installed for sure next week. Part came in today finally so going to just have them install it while it is there getting repaired.
Have one sitting in the garage, but it is missing a bracket for had to reorder it.

Re: Why?
Not too bad especially if that includes parts and labor

That includes installation of the skid as well.
Re: Why?
What type of real world gas mileage are you getting? How many miles now? Premium?

Re: Why?
About 23 average I think, been blasting the ac and since I broke it auto start stop doesn't work and neither does cruise which both help increase mpg. Put on almost 2000 miles so far. Would be more but was sick for a week and didn't go to work. These turbos are designed to take 87. Unless you are towing then it recommends premium.
Dealership had to order the harness. Should arrive today or tomorrow. Will be glad to get my car back. They gave me a free loaner, a new forester. The cvt with the base engine feels worse than it does with the turbo if you ask me. Lot more jerky movements and of course is a lot slower.

Towing? What’s the tow rating with it?

Did great this past week.
Actually slept in the back of it a couple of nights as well.
Few pics from a couple of different campgrounds we stayed in while working.
