Electric pressure washer

Post by Duck Vader »

Anyone have one? Thoughts? Recommendations? Just looking for something to wash the vehicles with, pressure wash the gutters and house, clean back patio, etc. Doesn't need to be insanely powerful, but strong enough to get the job done. Used one at ODFW to clean the trucks and bear traps with but was an old weak one.

Think something like this? https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-2400 ... 5001643485

I have the harbor freight one. It’s okay. Does what I need, did the siding and railing. Deff could use more power.

Yea I’ve got HF green one with the adjustable wand. Works ok but isn’t as strong as commercial ones.

Looks like hf is only 1750 psi, the one I posted is 2400, but flow rate is only 1.1

I got online and found the metal attachment to make it so any real attachment will fit. It’s not horrible, it’s just....not great.

I went through a few of the cheap electric ones and they never lasted that long. My gas one so far has been good, from Northern Tool, but I don't think that model is available any longer.

Been using this one for about 3 years now. Use it for everything from washing the car to the camper to the house. Been a great washer!

+1 for Sun Joe. I've had it for a couple of years now but pretty much only use it for washing cars. Tried doing the house once and it was not really up to the task.

Bought the $200 sunjoe from Home Depot. Seemed to work ok the little I used it yesterday. Tested a spot on the columns on my awning and it pulled some paint off, but then again it’s old paint and was already chipping. Probably used too aggressive of a tip for that lol.

This is the one I got. Kinda wished they had the one with the detergent tanks but it is what it is.

I should get my own so I don't have to run to my parents house to pick up the one my dad and I share.

Looking at it I could probably use a longer hose, but I also have a long garden hose as well so should be able to get everywhere I want with it easily. Going to wait until this weekend to play with it though so the Mrs can keep the dogs away while I try it on the patio.

So the sunjoe uses m22-15 and most others use m22-14, so you need adapters

I rock a tiny Ryobi for washing the car pretty much exclusively. It fits in a 3s trunk and I bring it to places like BRG. It's not up to big jobs because it's 1600 x 1.2GPM.

I think this is the right one although I think mine looks slightly different.
