Nope.

Supposedly it's gonna get a bigger EcoBoost V6.

Doug DeMuro did a walk around video on one of the static displays of the bronco. I have to say it looks a bit bigger than I was expecting.

Based on the prelim specs from Ford. I picked the Wildtrak because it was the biggest one on the spec sheet. The worst case scenario.

2021 Bronco Wildtrak 4-door

Code: Select all

Wheelbase	116 in
Length 189 in
Height 75 in
Width 79 in (mirrors folded)
2009 Hummer H3

Code: Select all

Wheelbase	112 in
Length 188 in
Height 73 in
Width 75 in (mirrors folded)
2009 Lexus GX470

Code: Select all

Wheelbase	110 in
Length 188 in
Height 75 in
Width 74 in (mirrors folded)
It's pretty much the same size as my two cherry picked examples. The extra width on the Wildtrak is in the fender flares. I guess the Sasquatch should be the same, so maybe the spec sheet is wrong. So much of it comes down to the tires. The body on our Hummer is only a couple inches longer than our Mazda, and similar everywhere else. But the tires change everything.

79.9 is the max width before you move to commercial vehicle requirements like marker lights etc. Most trucks and body on frame SUVs are pushing those limits to the max (new non raptor F-150s are 79.9 inches wide lol).

Current ranger is 77.8” wide so it’s only 1.2” wider. Not much lol

Yeah that's why the Raptor has the marker lights in the grill everyone copies

Is that mirrors folded in or including mirrors? Because there's no way a Ranger is only 2" narrower than my truck.
