4 door Bronco won't be big enough if you have 2 kids is my guess. Plus it won't have the status of a Tahoe.
I agree on the kid front. I was a amazed on how much stuff for 1 kid!!!

I think the bronco fits her better. She’s still under 30, she should be having fun vehicles, not status vehicles....in my opinion. We will see when the time comes.

Just saying if you want to have another kid, the bronco will most likely be too small at that point. If you get the Tahoe, especially brand new, you'll have it for a long time.

Should you choose to have them one day then you’ll understand.

Oh I agree I don't have kids so I don't get to see it.. but it is more of a general statement of how we seem to need so much more crap in general these days. I have fallen for it myself and have been pairing down to simplify my life a lot.. insane how much I can donate once I start digging into it.

Then I think back on how my parents would drive themselves, my sister, me and our Chow-Chow to a week long vacation in a Volvo 240 sedan haha.

Oh times have definitely changed for sure. I think part of it is because of the bigger SUVs etc. You can fit more stuff, so lets bring more stuff!

A lot of it is stuff is bigger now than it used to be. Strollers are huge now and don't collapse as much as they used to. Same for carseats.

We really are minimalist with toys too, I’ve told the grandparents no and take them back we aren’t gonna use it. We play with water hoses and outdoors all the time. But the amount of books we have and potty’s with clothes and strollers and pillows. It gets crazy quick.

I can definitely see the car seats due to safety requirements.. I also think kids are kind of used to having more stuff to entertain themselves these days. I see it with Beth's nephews. I was happy as a clam with some Matchbox cars and dirt haha.. maybe a soccer ball.

I know I sound like an old man but sometimes I think we might be doing kids a disfavor by giving them so much stuff.

On a side note - having a Chow-Chow sitting in between my sister and myself might be the only reason why we didn't kill each other - or get killed by our parents hah.

Last outing to Oregon we were packed. My wife is a minimalist which helps, but there is just stuff you need to keep around. Seats, 2 packnplays, blankets, pillows, diapers, wipes, butt cream, teething toys/pills, nursing bag, nursing cover, snack bags, cooler for perishables like milk, other food, then a box full of toys, ipad and case, then our clothes, toiletries, kids toilet seat, and it the list keeps going on.

Needless to say my truck was full front and back now that we have a family of 4.

This thing is going to be a great competitor to the Jeep. I’d rather have one! Especially with a manual trans.
2020 Miata Club - BBS package
2020 GMC Sierra Elevation Duramax
2014 Exomotive Exocet - #101 "shocker yellow" - sold :(

99 Solano Black VR4 - #16 of 287 - ground up restoration - sold :(

Go look at some of the tunes for the 2.7, I see some say extra 80hp with a air filter and tune. No idea if that would be the same in the bronco but seems like it could take to mods easily.

From everything I have seen and heard about it I am a fan.

If I have the means when it is time to retire my Buick GS daily I'll be picking up a 4 door with a manual trans.

I miss our FJ, this will fill that gap with normal back doors to boot. :)

Tiffany is already on board with this color. haha
See what the resale market looks like in a few years, I am only at 93K miles on the GS, plan to keep her until at least 160K miles.
