Yep. OEM rock sliders. I still have that other set I got from Pick N Pull too. I hope the step rails from the orange truck will fit around the sliders.

Gonna have a lot to fix up between repairs and optional stuff.

Very good. Step rails will only break off once you start to tackle obstacles on the trail anyways. Unless ...they are a necessity for entry and egress?

They make it a lot easier to get in and out on a daily basis. The increased ride height combined with the small door openings makes it kind of awkward to haul yourself in and out without them. But it's only 4 bolts per side. It's easy to take them off if we're going somewhere that they'd get snagged.

If it means I can comfortably drive my other V8, I'm just fine with that :D

Probably based on the vin and the decoder they used to auto populate thr info.

Look at the pictures. Definitely an LS-something. The custom gauge cluster is cool too.

Yeah it definitely has a V8, but I'm saying the reason the ad says 5 cylinder is because they probably use a vin decoder to populate the vehicle stats. The vin for a 5 cylinder H3 will always decode to 5 cylinders even if you swap a V12 into it.

Ohhh I see now. Man that’s a sexy swap! I take it yours is the 5.3 right now? What LS version? How much more power would you make with the swap?

Their H3 has the LH8 in it, 300hp stock. Good thing about LS based engines (at least up to the Gen V direct injected engines), is they are like Lego's for the most part. Can mix and match tons of parts.

I could drop a supercharged LSA in it if I wanted to. That's just nuts though. I don't need that much power, nor the cooling hassles.

I don't really need a 400hp engine either. But it's in my mind because this engine has 192k on it. Why would I spend money freshening this one up if I could easily drop a more powerful unit in?

It's definitely not something we're doing any time soon, if ever. But I'm at least going to keep it on the radar when I do things like replace the fuel pump, or service the trans, or do anything with the cooling system.

Google says 4884 lbs stock. The front bumper alone is 235 lbs, and then with all the other crap...it's a lot.
