Yea, big, very heavy, fat, poor ground clearance and 4wd parts. Ever try looking out any of its windows from the drivers seat. They take blind spots to a whole new level.

Blind spots like those on the H2 are normal in cars now

Honestly this damn ranger I drive for work SUCKS to see out of. I'm so tall the windshield stops right about eye level and trying to see out the side back windows for traffic is a joke. My phone is probably bigger than the side mirrors too.

My C7 doesn't have BSM. They couldn't fit it in the back and still keep the trans and diff coolers. Given the choice, I'd rather have the coolers. :D

The indicator lights help as do the lane assist that either vibrates your butt or pulls the steering wheel back to center. I saw on a newer car now that in your center cluster it will show a live video feed from your blind spot camera in the direction you have the blinker set. It was pretty damn cool.

We have bsm and lane keep assist in the Outback and really like the bsm. I wish the truck had it. We keep the lane keep assist off most of the time.

I had it on a rental car. It was nice, but it's not a must-have for me.

What's really weird is distance sensing cruise control. I messed with Vira's dad's head with that one. Set it, and then take your foot completely away from the pedals and watch the magic happen.

Yea wife has the distance sensing cruise on her car. It’s great. Glad hers doesn’t have the auto braking though. Just the audible beep if your distance shortens faster than a petal decel.

None of my vehicles have any of that. Volt would beep if I crossed a line but the system was stupid and beeped all the time, even when clearly in my lane. So kept it off. Never been in a vehicle that has adaptive cruise.

I like BSM for sure. Newer cars have insane blind spots. Not a fan of lane assist though.

What's really dumb about this is it had a frame under the frame, so lifting it gained zero ground clearance

Wife's car has all of the stuff. Love the adaptive cruise, blind spot monitoring is nice (though I still always check my mirrors), and the lane assist is really nice on long (like 10+ hour) drives on the highway, other than that though it stays off.

Id say he gained ground clearance, but all that sub frame work and trailing arms are extra junk.

You only need about an inch of ground clearance to roll into the Las Vegas convention center for SEMA.

Whenever you use forceful and overt verbal persuasion to try to convince others to see things your way, they're probably not listening to what you say, Instead they're looking for every error in you your logic and mistakes in your facts, all the while constructing counterarguments. Worse still, they don't merely believe you're wrong; they need you to be wrong in order to protect the status quo. And since the final judge exists in their own head, you lose every time. - The Influencer

It confuses so-called "self driving" systems.

The heads-up display in the bottom of the frame is from a Mazda. It thinks it's just seen a stop sign.

These systems don't actually read the signs. They just make a mathematical estimate that says something might be a stop sign.
