Only one kid for now. Weather Techs are amazing had a set for my Explorer, was getting ready to buy a set for the Outback when we got a set of Husky Liners for free, and never liked the Sequoia enough to buy them lol.
Soon to be two. Lol
Glad you like this truck enough. :)

Finally gave it a hand wash today, didn't really find any surprises in body damage which was nice. Still not a big fan of all the chrome, but not really too interested in spending money on something we basically don't drive right now.

I feel ya, I pulled mine out to wash it and then pulled it back in for nothing. Lol.

Plastidip. Great short term cheap solution.

Chrome looks great. Takes it to another level of cleanliness. Wouldn’t change it for trendy plastidip.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be to wash. Probably a bit less of a hassle than the Sequoia was.

Nah not going to dip the wheels or anything else

Eh it's too shouty for me I'd like to swap all the FX4 bits on but I'm pretty sure that's way more than I'd like to spend.

Been researching towing mirrors. In order to keep the power folding feature, which I need to be able to park it in the garage, it's going to be at least $800  I really only need them for the fish eye mirror to help us see the rear wheel when maneuvering in tight spaces. The other is I'd have to give up the drivers side auto dim mirror.

Can you survive with what you have, or get the low tech aftermarket ones you strap on temporarily?

Well the reality is I could just get one of the crap stick on fish eye mirrors and attach it to the passenger side mirror since my drivers side already has a convex mirror from the factory.

Ford has good mirrors on those from the factory. Just wish the passenger side matched. The F250's have it right.

The 250 mirrors have pretty much been the same for years because they work. Hauling a 20' trailer with the 250 at work I never had an issue seeing.

Ordered a set of Motorcraft SP548 spark plugs. Even though the service interval is 100k most people seem to agree the trucks are happier when you do it better 50k and 60k.

also when i was washing it last weekend I noticed on of the fender badges is pulling off a little. Since there are holes on the fenders for alignment I have to do something. I could just put new mounting trim tape on the back of the existing logo, or I could get these... https://www.amazon.com/LARIAT-Tailgate- ... 07J454NZ8/ Not sure if they are 'ricey' though :chin:

oof just realized the amazon ones don't have the factory alignment pins for the fender logos. Would make it a pain to get them in the right spot :eh:

Even if they are peeling back a little they are very difficult to remove. I would leave them or just get new adhesive or RTV silicon.
