I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Someone was willing to buy this monstrosity that sat next to a Tire & Rim store [one of those 'No Credit, Bad Credit, No Problem!' places of course] for years.

It's rolling down Skibo Road next to the mall on Saturday afternoons now with a flag hanging off the back.

But yeah, 80k for a surplus HMMWV

Isn't that like taking a Russian capture K98, putting a gawdy aftermarket stock with a pistol grip on it, and then trying to sell it for 5k plus? Kinda like this Mosin:

All gave some, some gave all.

America is not at war, the US military is. America is at the mall.

There's nothing quite like the feeling of coming back from a deployment to a warzone.

Speaking of historic stuff, we found a 1941 Reichspfennig in the Walmart parking lot today. At first glance it looked just like a nickel laying on the ground. Our three year old gets quite excited at finding money.

Looks just like this one:

My v10 ran was the worst financial decision I made. Followed closely by 3 kids. But I'd still buy that
