Yeah any gtr I get would be best to shit. We all know it. Most vetted would prob be in that case as well. In any case no other sports car would happen for me in the next 5 years.

Wait your are telling me I should buy a 10k-15k Vette but you are worried about a used 50k one being beat to shit?

When your talking used cars I still think vette is better.

Fix that driveway or just drive pickup trucks.

Put an elevator on the driveway. Lol

That's not even a driveway. Any engineer who okayed that should be repeatedly kicked in the nuts.

Eventually there will prob be a garage uptop. Or at least a carport for the kids to park their vehicle because there is just not enough room at the base.

You can see off the lower deck the angle the yard keeps going. Then you can see the driveway steepness. But on top of that it’s me turning off if it so sharply that makes it difficult.

Been reading other forums about air ride brands to make sure I’m happy with what I get. The mustang guys (yes I know mustangs) have some good info. Here is one that has really made me excited.
I know it’s been posted in one of my threads but I’ve been thinking more and more about it. To the point I need to ride in an aftermarket (obviously will not be a 3/s) air ride to see if I like it. Coil overs suck for street driving. Yes they lower your car, yes it handles great. No they are not conferrable no matter what brand or setting. Only thing that was semi okay was the tien spring replacement and even that I didn’t like a lot.
Disagree.

I've ran coil overs on a few cars and they rode great. The issue is the springs are very very hard on all the coil over options for the 3/S. "Nothing better" is available because no one wants to spend $3k-$4k on a real setup. The Ohlins I ran in the RX7 were $3700 but the car rode great and won autoX events.

Nate from Washington state with the white 98 VR4 is running them too. They aren't cheap but they're gonna be cheaper than your custom air ride setup!

Which gutter? I looked and can’t find anything. Also I wasn’t too thrilled with my gutter ppl. They have a couple spots I find lacking as they are suppose to go past the roof. Well they went just a hair short and so I have some spots that drop onto window rails and it’s loud.

Well I would have to ride in a set to see but I just doubt it, it has been a name that pops up on other platforms. Add to if I need stock height to negotiate some of my angles and then that doesn’t give me the ride look I want. What custom air ride though? They make evo x adapters, they make air ride for evos....not any more custom than anything else.

I’ve pretty much talked myself into air ride and it maybe an expensive mistake but I really feel it’s my only option anymore.

Greg, it’s Coop. At this point you just let him go. This is the guy who did a rear mount AC condenser...

I do want to hear options, like ryan showed me the things that go over the coilovers that I have never heard of. But I really have tried to ride in every set of coilovers I can and NONE of them are comfortable ride.

I think at the end of the day, the air ride is not the best handling option, it is gonna be better than 1992 stuff with 170k.

Coop if you want to show off raising and lowering you car at the push of a button, that’s well and fine. I honestly think air rides are cool!

Just don’t fool yourself into thinking you’re getting a more comfortable ride.

Are you saying that air ride is not as nice of ride as coil overs? If so you are the first person I have read that from. The very first. Have you rode in any air rides? What makes you say that?

Let me make it clear I love the stock ride quality. Just hate the 4x4 look and I believe they are pretty worn. I just want to make the right choice as I’ve made a bunch of bad ones.

Anyone have experience with the Tein coilover setup? Seems to be a fraction and quite adjustable.
