I used MEK in the interior of the LJ before painting. Cleaned it pretty well. Stuff is strong af.

thats one of the reasons it took me so long to buy the harness for the forester. $900 harness for a project i was less than $2k in lol. Hard pill to swallow.

You probably dont even need the extension to be honest. Proper seating position should allow your wrists to rest on the top of the wheel when you arms are fully extended but elbows not locked. At least when I was looking up information when building my sim racing setup. Ideally the center of your steering wheel should be about as high as your neck, but with your size i doubt its possible to lower the seat that much.

The recommendation I got from my driving instructors at HPDEs was to be able to push your shoulder blades into the seat back. Based on the picture an extension would be good for that.

Looks like it may be lightly used, but there ain't a thing wrong with that. That engine stand is beefy as hell.
