Yea I've only played around with it at or near idle. I'm sure you have noticed how inaccurate the stock tach is. Mine lagged badly and anything but precise. I've toyed with installing a 3s unit over the top of the existing or maybe cutting it out but I'm not sure how difficult that would be yet. Otherwise a professional aftermarket unit would look great too but I'm afraid it would require too much real estate reaching toward the cowl.
I'm open to ideas though.

I prefer the sleeper look of the stock cluster. If I can't find a way to make that work, I need to give up on electronics as a hobby.

Yea not bad. I prefer the stock one as well. Just need to tie back in the tach.

I'm just dumbfounded at how quickly you got this all together. Nice work.

Rpm window switch. You see me grab it in the video. You tie it into your tach signal and then into your device you want to control. Then just set your start and stop rpm for engagement. Super easy to wire up.

Guess this page deserves an update. I spent the weekend swapping out the rear axle and drums for that of a 97 Montero with discs. Then I got lucky and found another V6 mighty max in the junk yard with the same gears and LSD.

You might also notice the car doesn't pull as hard on the upper end. I think that is due to the long intake runners from regular Monteros. Really need to find a 2003+ Full size intake to get my top end to really open up.

Also wanted to add that the elevation is 4,500 ft and the crappy shakes you see at higher speeds is due to old tires with some residual flat spots. Like 2004 old. I've never been to a Cabella's. I used to go right by one on a weekly basis and stop at a Sheetz basically right next to it to fuel up the truck and myself, but never went in. I don't know how big yours are, but they say this one here you could spend hours in and not see everything.

These are the bolts that hold your upper intake to the lower manifold.
If you're missing the 160mm bolts, just order them from a dealer. They're around $5. The other ones can be pulled from your current 3.5 manifold.

Thanks Jeff. That helps out a lot. WhAt about the smaller bolts that connect the middle to the upper? Those are all missing.
