Looks like I can get a complete set of brake pads and shoes for ~$40. Hopefully that plus a full bleed will put enough life back in them so I can get this thing through a state safety check. A few tack welds should fix the exhaust.

Speaking of brakes, I think this thing has ABS. I noticed a control module in the center console, and ABS is the only thing that shows up on the diagrams.

Oh, I'm definitely going to get my inner hillbilly on with this thing. It's like putting on a really comfortable pair of worn out jeans.

Also....I pulled about 5 lbs of garbage out from under and behind the seat. The guy that sold this is lucky I'm not the identity theft type. I found one of his mortgage statements under the seat :lol:

My shop vac finally gave up the ghost on this truck. Time for a new one :lol:
