Looks like I can get a complete set of brake pads and shoes for ~$40. Hopefully that plus a full bleed will put enough life back in them so I can get this thing through a state safety check. A few tack welds should fix the exhaust.

Speaking of brakes, I think this thing has ABS. I noticed a control module in the center console, and ABS is the only thing that shows up on the diagrams.

Also....I pulled about 5 lbs of garbage out from under and behind the seat. The guy that sold this is lucky I'm not the identity theft type. I found one of his mortgage statements under the seat
