Oh...people round here know not to run a P85D. They've eaten a few Hellcats and Vettes already. There are 4 of them in my neighborhood. I really really want one for a daily.
Not here. I have yet to see one accelerate with intention. There are also 4 or 5 of them near my house. I thought I lived in a cheaper part of town

I see quite a few around here as well. Beaverton has a lot of nice cars, especially with all the dealerships. I see Porsche's, R8's, F-Types, BMW M's, P85D's, Ferrari's, Lotus's, AMG's, etc. quite a bit around here, but have never seen anyone do anything with them. I drive faster in my damn Jeep.
People up here tend to drive slow anyway. On my way back from Southern California I averaged about 80-85 mph and was still getting passed. Once I hit Oregon I was going about 70 mph and was flying by everyone.

Speaking of, why does OR seem to have a speed limit of 65 mph no matter how straight for how long the stretch of Interstate is? A similar stretch in ID is 80 mph. I doubt ID is having more crashes as a result, I haven't seen any in almost 4 months here.
All gave some, some gave all.
America is not at war, the US military is. America is at the mall.
There's nothing quite like the feeling of coming back from a deployment to a warzone.

I don't know, but it drives me nuts. There have been movements to raise it, but nothing has come of it yet.

It is even worse around here. We got I80 which is higher (70.. think they talked about 75) but other than that it is 55-65...

I remember Ohio. It really did suck. The state troopers out there are real dicks from what I remember. Most truck drivers hate going through Ohio too. The troopers tend to target them because they can fine them more.
I remember taking SR-11 from Youngstown to Ashtabula. It was so hard not to speed on that road.

I have been pulled over in almost every state I have lived in, but only got a ticket once, and that was in Wisconsin.

65? More like 55mph. Its sucks because if I cross up through the desert going to Boise you run into the straightest highway in OR and its a bloody 55mph for days.
BTW just went through your town visiting Jackson Hole this weekend. Forgot you were living there. Forgot how cold it can get there. Brrrr.

Obviously reverse racism.
Re: My Corvette finally arrived!
Pulled over 3 times my entire life.
Pulled over doing 77 in a 70mph zone... $256 ticket.
Pulled over for no reason going through the mountains... me and the ex-gf were seperated into different vehicles and questioned for about 20 mins, issued warning ticket for "following too closely" when there were no other vehicles on the road.
Pulled over doing 10mph under the speed limit... went to jail
