Checkout my rides

Post by TajMan »

2003 Yamaha Vino scooter, 50cc of fury, topped it out at like 45mph :D  - borrowing from uncle for a short while, better than the bicycle I've been getting around on for a few weeks.

Jeep Comanche truck (I don't even know year lol I'll go check) - was given this truck from the friend car guy who gave me the Audi 90(w/ bad auto), the Geo Storm(engine/tranny ran but needed big work done), and the '90 GS-T(ran but was gonna need head rebuild soon, engine died for good when I was driving).
I just got the Comanche for free right now. 4.0L I6, SHOULD just need the head rebuilt. I'll know more soon. Once I fix I've got it for 6 months to drive. After 6 months we'll decide what will happen, truck for me or him to keep, maybe a lil money exchanging hands, etc.
I have a feeling I'll paint it within 6 months and I'd even LOVE to get a lift/wheels. If I put any more into it than that head rebuild I have a feeling in 6 months I'll do what I need to keep it as mine for good.
:bigthumb:

The Conquest is stored, in a sad sad state. No engine/tranny, bumpers etc off in the garage, half way through bondo work, riding on on 4 spare donuts, etc. Stored for project later later when I have THOUSANDS to dump into it at once. In the meantime I can do any work on it that doesn't take a lot of money.

Taj, always gotta change it up ya know

Thats so bad ass.

If I did anything I think it would be 5-6" lift like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Com ... dZViewItem
That company is in Heber City, UT anyway.

33" or so tires would be enough for me.

I am going with a 4.5 with 32's on my XJ in the future. Any more than that and highway driving is not worth it in my opinion.

If it was me and I had the money, a knew I was going to keep it, I would DEFINITELY lift that jeep and put some wheels on it. Hell, I'd put a bull bar and roof light rack on it too.

the size of your lifts is directly proportional to your penis...get it as high as you can, and then you won't ever have to jack it up to do anything except change one of your testicle enhancing tires :)

and you can drive over anything

On the Internet they say, "You never get this! You never get this!" But then one day they all met in Cali and they get this.

You REALLY wanna push me for the 7-8" lift huh?

It is sad for now. :(
Most of the ripped out quest drivetrain is still in my garage not sold yet. (engine jumped time, head is off shortblock now, both are perfect 2,000 miles after a rebuild)
However, later it will get supercharged or turbocharged LS1 and TH400 tranny.
It will be F'n incredible deep into the 11's for sure and probably BEYOND!

Jeep's only got 113K miles its not bad off at all once I fix the head and paint later. Its an '87.

Th400? No t56? :(
I watched a buildup video of an LS1 FD RX-7...so beautiful. All these guys were bashing it, but you know what, in 5-10k miles when they're apex seals burst/bust/whatever, it'll still be troopin.
I'm seriously thinkin about trying to make it work in my old SL. I really can't imagine it being THAT hard.

or t56

For the 3/S it becomes so hard because of the major frame/body modifications required to fit engine that way and RWD tranny, designing new steering setup because stock rack-n-pinion has to go, etc.

That is it? Man, that thing is not even broken in yet. With regular maintenance that thing will last 200k+ easily.
